The Bare Cove Fire Museum at 45 Bare Cove Park is open for free tours at least once a month. A short walk from the West Hingham commuter rail station into the Bare Cove Park, when you enter the building, you will see wooden and motorized fire engines along with the many artifacts that tell the history of firefighting in New England. While this is not a playground for small children, volunteers will take the time to answer each child’s questions and hopefully spark their interest in history and fire fighting.
