“Library Links,” produced by the Board of Trustees, will offer an 18-hole mini-golf course, upstairs and down, all over the Library. No golf experience necessary!
With a course supplied by Mobile-Mini Golf, a business owned and operated by Hingham native Joe Buckley, this event has been a great success and a rollicking good time at public libraries and other nonprofit organizations all over Massachusetts. Clubs, instructions, rules of the game, and scorecards are provided.
On Saturday, everyone is invited to visit the library from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to play the course for free. The colorful course is suitable for children to seniors, and features hills, bumps, twists, loops, and surprises. The Trustees will be providing coffee and doughnuts in the morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
With its fantastic collections, staff, programs, classes, and cultural events, the Hingham Public Library is the much-loved heart of our community. Along with generous taxpayer support, additional funds raised with donations and events such as “Library Links” are essential for the Trustees to maintain a public library of the highest quality that benefits both the town and surrounding area. We hope to see you there.
